The Bristol HUG meets four times a year and gathers together a bunch of like-minded people all interested in HubSpot and the topic of marketing automation. Each meet-up is different; we invite speakers to cover a range of topics from content marketing and the buyer's journey to inbound sales, automated workflows and lead nurturing - it's definitely varied! It's not all sitting and listening though. We're sociable creatures so there's time set aside for you to have a laugh and get to know everyone over a beer or two (or soft drink, whatever takes your fancy).
We meet in the upstairs function room of the Famous Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street, Bristol. The HUGs start around 5.30pm - plenty of time for you to pop in after work - and finish around 7.30pm. The best part of the whole thing? It's completely free to attend.
Claire is the Marketing and Events Manager of Inbound Marketing Agency, Noisy Little Monkey. When she's not making cups of tea or cackling at one of Jon Payne's terrible jokes, Claire is busy promoting the agency and the other networking events and conferences they run called Digital Gaggle.
In between all the fluffy networking and event stuff, Claire also facilitates client training and Noisy Little Monkey's inbound marketing campaigns. She loves to natter and meet people so if you think you'd be a good fit to speak at a future HUG, be sure to drop her a line.
Jon is the (weird and) wonderful Technical Director of Noisy Little Monkey. Based out of Bristol's famous Tobacco Factory, Jon created Noisy Little Monkey to help support businesses that were being stung by black-hat SEO tactics. Eight years on and the agency has grown into a lively business which helps its clients deliver and perfect their inbound marketing strategy.
Jon is a wizard with all things relating to technical SEO and is also a brilliant speaker. He's talked at events including Social Media Week, SMX London, Digital Gaggle and the Bristol HUG. His talks will leave you refreshed, motivated and you'll (hopefully) leave with a smile on your face.
